Under the outrageous claim that they are consulting people on investment in leisure, Wiltshire Council is threatening to close Bradford on Avon Swimming Pool, unless a”Community Group” can come forward to run it!
A look at the Wiltshire Website says “Local Communities Invited to Discuss Investment in Leisure”, but the truth is that Wiltshire Council is trying to run away from its obligations.

I went swimming this morning and there was no petition for people to sign at the pool. Have they asked if they will have one? I would assume it would be the obvious place to start. Some of the people I spoke to knew nothing about the possible closure
